Project Coordinator

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator is accountable for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of a Project Manager (PM).

​

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Liaison between client and project appraisers

  • Prepare timetables for projects

  • Assign, schedule, and manage subcontractors with budget guidelines

  • Secure materials selection and accurate ordering

  • Ensure that worksite is clean and follows safety guidelines

  • Obtaining approval for all work and sub-trades and any orders that have to be changed

  • Preparation and correction of project deficiencies

  • Site walk-through and obtaining clients' approval and sign off

  • Adhere to project completion dates

  • Report to and assist senior project managers

  • Prepare weekly reports on job progress, problems, and solutions

  • Coordinate the care/protection of client belongings during the restoration process

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business (with availability for on-call rotation)

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • 3 years of work experience in the Construction/Restoration industry

  • Proficient software skills - MS office suite

  • IICRC (WRT, FSRT) is strongly desired

  • Strong knowledge of residential/commercial construction techniques and current building codes

  • Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment or independently

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong drive to see a project through to completion

  • Strong problem resolution skills

  • Periodic travel may be required

  • Valid G/G2 driver’s license
