Project Coordinator
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator is accountable for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of a Project Manager (PM).

Key Responsibilities:

Liaison between client and project appraisers

Prepare timetables for projects
-
Assign, schedule, and manage subcontractors with budget guidelines
-
Secure materials selection and accurate ordering
-
Ensure that worksite is clean and follows safety guidelines
-
Obtaining approval for all work and sub-trades and any orders that have to be changed
-
Preparation and correction of project deficiencies
-
Site walk-through and obtaining clients' approval and sign off
-
Adhere to project completion dates

Report to and assist senior project managers
-
Prepare weekly reports on job progress, problems, and solutions
-
Coordinate the care/protection of client belongings during the restoration process

Must be able to work evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business (with availability for on-call rotation)

Required Knowledge and Experience:
-
3 years of work experience in the Construction/Restoration industry
-
Proficient software skills - MS office suite
-
IICRC (WRT, FSRT) is strongly desired
-
Strong knowledge of residential/commercial construction techniques and current building codes
-
Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment or independently
-
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
-
Strong drive to see a project through to completion

Strong problem resolution skills
-
Periodic travel may be required

Valid G/G2 driver’s license
